Project focus
- Development of a fleet strategy incl. CAPEX/OPEX assessment and reserve planning
- Network planning with integration of demand and spatial development, vehicle sizes and strategically relevant infrastructure measures
- Simulation of battery capacities, ageing (SoH/SoR) and charging scenarios
- Target network planning for overhead line infrastructure and options for integrating smart grid solutions

Detailed recording of timetables, stops, line profiles, energy demand and existing trolleybus infrastructure.
Simulation
Course-accurate simulations for schedules, charging windows, battery states and grid loads over a full operating year.
Evaluation
Comparison of fleet and infrastructure scenarios in terms of cost-efficiency, operational reliability and grid stability.
Recommendation
Preparation of a sound decision-making basis for electrification, incl. smart grid options and depot development.
